About Be Recruited

Alberta has a trades shortage. Most recruiters don't know a Red Seal from a resume. berecruited.ca was built for that gap.

Founder

Cheryl. Edmonton.

Twenty year business entrepreneur, started Bridge Employment Services. Saw too many contractors lose a day because someone's tickets weren't current. Saw too many tradespeople ghosted by recruiters who didn't know what their ticket was actually worth.

Be Recruited is the answer. Specialist. Trade-literate. Direct. You reach out, we answer. We verify before we send. We follow up after day one. We don't send anyone we wouldn't send to a friend's job site.

What we stand for

Five things. No exceptions.

We check tickets before we send anyone anywhere

No exceptions. Every safety cert, every apprenticeship level, every Red Seal is verified. If something's expired, we tell you, not the site foreman on day one.

We don't ghost candidates after placement

30-day and 90-day check-ins after every placement. We want to know how it's going. Problems surface early this way, and good workers remember who looked after them.

We tell contractors the truth

If what you're asking for doesn't exist at the rate you're offering, we'll say so. We'd rather have an honest conversation than waste your time and ours.

We know the difference between a good contractor and a bad one

Tradespeople talk on site. We listen. If a contractor has a reputation for stalling apprentices at level 2, or for unsafe conditions, we won't send people there.

We're Edmonton-based. We answer fast.

Not a national agency with a remote rep. We're here, we know the market, and we answer when you reach out.
