Date posted: July 23, 2026 Pay: CA$75,000.00-CA$85,000.00 per year Job description: Construction Sales Estimator & Business Development Representative Location: Edmonton and Region | Job Type: Full-Time | Compensation: up to $85000+ Commission/Bonus Structure About the Role We're seeking an experienced Residential Construction Sales Estimator with a strong track record in business development to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role that combines technical estimating expertise with relationship driven sales ideal for someone who can read a blueprints and is specific in estimating. What You'll Do Prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates and bids for residential/commercial construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs Review blueprints, specifications, and site conditions to scope project requirements Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold outreach, and industry events Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, architects, property developers, and repeat clients Present proposals and negotiate contract terms with prospective clients Track and manage a sales pipeline from lead generation through contract signing Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure estimates align with actual project execution Monitor market trends, material costs, and competitor pricing to keep bids competitive Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts/reports to leadership What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, sales, or business development (combined experience preferred) Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost structures Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with a proven ability to generate and close new business Valid clean driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites and client meetings What We Offer Competitive base salary plus commission/performance bonuses Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for growth within a expanding company To Apply: send personal emails only .
